Add a sitemap

Help crawlers find all of your pages.

Why it matters

A sitemap (sitemap.xml) is a list of your pages. It helps both search engines and AI crawlers find everything you've published — including pages that aren't clearly linked.

How to do it

1Most platforms (WordPress, Shopify and others) generate a sitemap automatically — often via a setting or a plugin.
2Check that it's live at your-domain.dk/sitemap.xml.
3Point to it from robots.txt with the line: Sitemap: https://your-domain.dk/sitemap.xml.
4Submit it in Google Search Console.

Common questions

Do I have to build the sitemap by hand?

No. Almost every platform generates it for you. Usually you just switch it on and check that it works.
