Guide

Give your most important pages more substance

Thin pages give the AI engines too little to work from.

Why it matters

If a page carries only a few lines of text, the engine has almost nothing to extract facts from — so it skips you in favour of a competitor who explains more. Depth beats an empty page.

How to do it

  1. 1Identify your most important pages (your front page, and the services you want to be found for).
  2. 2Go deeper: who is the service for, what's included, how does it work, what does it typically cost.
  3. 3Answer the questions customers actually have, in plain language.
  4. 4Skip the empty buzzwords — concrete facts are easier to quote.

Common questions

How much text is enough?

There's no fixed threshold — but a page should be able to answer the main questions a customer has. Write for the person, not for a word count.
